When we are on vacation, we often do things differently. Sometimes we have a few extra beers at the pool, sleep all day, and eat countless burgers in the sun. But one woman decided to take it one step further.

How's this for hygiene?

A video captured on Reddit shows a woman shaving her legs in the swimming pool. You might expect her to do this discreetly – but she decided to do it in full public view. Even worse, young children are swimming around her as her hair falls into the pool!

The footage shows the woman dangling her legs over the pool water as she moves the razor up and down her legs. She even washed the razor in the pool between shaving – without a care in the world!

You might expect onlookers to stop her, but none of them appear to notice her. The person filming decided to post the clip on the internet, where it's gone viral.

Nobody knows when the person recorded the clip, but regardless, internet users are horrified at this revolting act!

One Reddit user posted,

"That is so disgusting, imagine the inadvertent gulp of water that sometimes happens when you're swimming.. with all the shaved hair in it".

There's a high chance this user is speaking for millions of people with that comment.

Other Reddit users continued to post their disapproval, with one user stating,

"I used to lifeguard at a YMCA and saw poop, puke, and a dude bust'n a nut watching an aerobics class."

Judging by the internet reaction, it seems disgusting actions like this are common. When you're next doing your lengths in the pool, try not to open your mouth – you never know what is in the pool!

Especially when you are sharing a public pool with people who like to shave their legs in the water.
