Pack your sunscreens and not much more, as the nude cruise is only a year away!

After many cancellations and failed plans, Carnival Pride will resume on February 13, 2022. The trip will start in Tampa, and you'll get to see Colon, Panama; Cartagena, Colombia; Kralendijk, Bonaire; Willemstad, CuraƧao; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Nassau, Bahamas. Guests will also enjoy a special visit to Amber Cove, Carnival's cruise port in the Dominican Republic.

The Bare Necessities was supposed to host a two-week voyage aboard the Carnival Legend in February 0f 2021.

It was a challenging period, and even tougher for the fun-loving naturalist who enjoys cruising and relaxation in the sun. Things are already looking up; we just have to be patient.

The misconceptions about the cruise

It should be noted that this is not a swingers cruiser, despite that clothing isn't a necessity. As per the official website:

"Our mission is to provide relaxing, entertaining, and health-conscious vacation opportunities that offer non-threatening, natural environments where the appreciation, wonder, and compatibility of nature and the unadorned human form can occur."

Last year, Rosie Ochoa, a spokesperson for Bare Necessities, said that one of the biggest challenges is dealing with misconceptions:

"They think that naturists are disgusting, sex-crazed maniacs or that our cruises are for swingers."

As she explained, the reality was quite different, and it's about respecting privacy, the staff, and other passengers. There's zero tolerance for those who act out:

"We have a zero-tolerance policy. I like to believe this is what makes us so successful. Feeling safe and being safe are things you can count on when you sail with us."
