Candace Cameron Bure played the older daughter in the hit show Full House. The late Bob Saget played her dad.
The actress played D.J. Tanner, and in many ways, she grew up on the set on the series. She later returned to the Fuller House.
Candace left a message for her on-screen dad, which says:
"My childhood is wrapped up in you, my formative teenaged years, and the rest of adulthood. You taught me to feel deeply at such a young age. You were never afraid or ashamed to share your emotions, to cry, to love, to laugh and say it out loud."

The photo was captured during the later years of Full House, and it indeed shows that Bob Saget was a father figure to four lovely young girls during the filming.
Candace was 10 when she joined the cast of the Full House. Saget played a single dad to three girls, Jodie Sweetin and Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, who were ten months old when they started playing Michelle Tanner.
All women fondly remembered the years they spent on set with one of the nicest people in Hollywood.
The series creator Jeff Franklin released a joint statement via John Stamos' Instagram:
"Thirty-five years ago, we came together as a TV family, but we became a real family," said the statement. "And now we grieve as a family. Bob made us laugh until we cried. Now our tears flow in sadness, but also with gratitude for all the beautiful memories of our sweet, kind, hilarious, cherished Bob. He was a brother to us guys, a father to us girls, and a friend to all of us. Bob, we love you dearly. We ask in Bob's honor, hug the people you love. No one gave better hugs than Bob."

Bob Saget died at 65, and while the cause of death is yet to be determined, TMZ reported it was most likely a stroke. Just like in Full House, Bob was a dad to three daughters.
Bob Saget became one of TV's most beloved dads in Full House and continued with the hit show How I Met Your Mother, where he voiced over the future Ted.
