Caitlyn Jenner's recent comments sparked interest in a baffling 2017 restaurant episode involving restroom signs featuring her. The restaurant's explanation emphasized the importance of open dialogue and togetherness, though it didn't divulge many details.
Caitlyn Jenner fires back at those who criticized a restaurant for putting her pictures in their restrooms.
Back in 2017, a Texas restaurant garnered attention after photos of their restroom went viral.
One restroom featured a picture of Caitlyn Jenner in her feminine form, while the other displayed an image of her before her transition.

Numerous folks voiced their disapproval and urged Dodie's Place Cajun Bar & Grill in Allen to promptly take down the sign.
Trans activist Jess Herbst shared with Chron.com: "There is an obvious lack of understanding of gender dysphoria by the owner of the restaurant."
"Imagine the most humiliating and embarrassing moment of your life."
"Remember how you felt inside, that gut-crushing, out of breath, verge of panic attack feeling."
"Now imagine posting a giant photo of that moment in a very public place. This is how the photos in his bathroom make transgender people feel."
But it seems like the main character in this drama isn't bothered by it at all.

That very same viral picture was shared on Twitter/X, along with a question asking if it was funny.
A lot of people found the post amusing, while others thought it was offensive. This debate was really sparked by the upload.
However, Jenner jumped into the conversation and proclaimed it to be "hilarious."
Following a substantial amount of criticism, Dodie's Place Cajun Bar & Grill released a statement in 2017, asserting that they never meant to cause offense.
They believed it was merely a 'lighthearted gesture to push back against the political correctness that seems to have a stranglehold on this country right now.'
"We believe that political correctness has done more to silence rather than encourage important discussions that our society probably needs to have," the social media statement read.
"Based on the mind-boggling feedback, both positive and negative, people are having that discussion.
Furthermore, the statement mentioned that terms like "transphobic, deviant, racist, bigot" only work to create divisions among us.
"After all, we are all part of the same race - the human race," the restaurant said.
"Surely we can discuss this topic and many others without slapping hurtful labels on each other. Please know that we are here to discuss this and move forward as a community."
"Everyone is welcome here."
