Camel's Toe, also called, C.Toe is often embarrassing for the female folk but has become a fashion trend.
It gets awkward when a stranger points it out. You start thinking, "how many people saw that but didn't say anything?"
Apparently, the number of those with such concerns has reduced because C.Toe now has a "unique" appeal.
Dictionary.com defines it as "the outline of the vulva as seen when a woman is wearing tight, stretchy pants." It is called a C.Toe because the outline looks like the toes of a camel.
A company in Japan has been manufacturing pants with the C.Toe shape on them. This fake mold is made using thick fabric or silicone. It is then sewn into the front of the pant.
These pants are popularly called "Party Pants." The company producing these pants has been doing so for years, but it has only recently gained traction.
Trend analysts propose that the increased sale of this product appeals to the transgender market, especially men who are transitioning into womanhood.
Some of them want to conceal their genitals using these pants, while others want to project the idea of being female.
These party pants come in a variety of colors and styles. According to Popdust, they have a sort of curtain that you can wear if you want to hide the C.Toe and remove it when you have the urge to flash it.
This new trend is not limited to the transgender market. It has also appealed to women. They reportedly buy these Party Pants to look "more amazing."
Well, not many would view it as impressive. It mostly passes across as uncomfortable. Many people even question the need for it.
Other retailers have come up with more life-like variations of the C.Toe Party Pants. Even a Japanese company produces pants that prevent camel's toes from occurring naturally.
This C. Toe-proof pant is produced under the Cuchini brand. It also has an interesting tagline - "Our lips are sealed." Other retailers also took advantage of this trend and started making similar pants.
