A mixed martial artist and model who is one victory away from competing in the UFC has said that the bullying she received about her weight motivated her to achieve success.
Alice Ardelean finances her training by selling suggestive content on OnlyFans and has been told that she has the most prominent and curvaceous buttocks in the fighting industry.
Now, the individuals who previously bullied her frequently send her private messages expressing their admiration for her alluring pictures.
The Birmingham-based martial artist told Daily Star in an exclusive interview: "I used to be bullied because I was a bit chubby."
"So I started doing MMA about 12 years ago because the guys were a bit aggressive and I was scared somebody was going to hurt me.
"It is really weird because some of my bullies have been sliding into my DMs which is funny.
"I used to play a shooting game all day in an internet café my dad owned.
"Every time I was online they would say 'oh my god you are so fat' and 'you fat b***h'.
"But personally I prefer myself a bit chubby. I can't wait to get out of fight camp so I can gain a bit of weight because that's when I feel good."
Alice, who is originally from Romania, said that learning how to fight transformed her life and she is now one victory away from competing in the most prominent combat promotion in the world.
However, Alice attributes her success to turning to OnlyFans three years ago to financially support her dream of achieving greatness.
The 30-year-old's income increased significantly, going from earning £600 per month as a security officer to earning up to £10,000 per month on the subscription website.
Alice takes suggestive photos in between training sessions and has been on a five-fight winning streak since OnlyFans enabled her to train full-time.
She told us: "
As a fighter I am not really athletic with big muscles but I have a big ass. So loads of people subscribed and fighting and OnlyFans go really well.
"Obviously I get a lot of hate from people but they don't give me anything and their opinions don't matter."
"I've also got a lot of hate from MMA fans that never helped me or gave me a piece of bread when I was hungry saying that I haven't got self respect and dignity.
"If only dignity would pay bills, rent, electricity, water, gas, food, training and equipment.
"I'm now known in MMA all around the world and popular for having one of the biggest and roundest booties."
Alice will be competing for the strawweight EFC world title in South Africa in March and has been informed that a victory will earn her a UFC contract.
If she secures a UFC contract, Alice would join the billion dollar company where fighters such as Conor McGregor and Paddy "The Baddy" Pimblett have gained widespread recognition.
She herself said: "That would mean be a lot to reach the UFC. For every fighter this is their dream.
"Before OnlyFans I couldn't afford to train properly but now I do four to six sessions every day and even one training session on Sunday.
"I am really close and I won't stop now."
