Britney Spears' long-awaited book, which hit the shelves on October 24, is a complete revelation of her life.

In a surprising twist, Britney opens up in her book, revealing that she underwent an abortion during her relationship with Justin Timberlake.

In her book, she penned, "It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn't a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day."

"This would just be much earlier than I'd anticipated."

"But Justin definitely wasn't happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren't ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young."

There had been speculations about whether Britney's 2003 song 'Everytime' hinted at her choice to end her pregnancy.

Nevertheless, Annet Artani, who co-penned the song with Britney, made it clear that the song was solely about their recent breakups.

In yet another surprising revelation, Britney has now shared the age she was when she lost her virginity, addressing the way her team has always depicted her as an 'eternal virgin.'

At 41 years old, she wrote about her experience of living with her ex-boyfriend, NSYNC star Justin, during their relationship. "Given that I had so many teenage fans, my managers and press people had long tried to portray me as an eternal virgin."

"I'd been having sex since I was fourteen," she added.

Britney also wondered why her managers were so determined to label her as a 'young, innocent virgin' even when she was in her twenties.

"Whose business was it if I'd had sex or not?" she added.

Britney Spears' memoir covers much more than just her virginity, you know?

She also spills the beans about her brief romance with Irish actor Colin Farrell, offering readers a glimpse into her personal life and romantic adventures.

In a 2002 interview with W Magazine, Britney revealed that she had a sexual relationship with her ex-boyfriend Timberlake. She mentioned, "I've only slept with one person my whole life."

"It was two years into my relationship with Justin, and I thought he was the one. … But I was wrong! I didn't think he was gonna go on Barbara Walters and sell me out."

Spears dropped her highly awaited memoir on Tuesday, published by Gallery Books, a division of Simon & Schuster.

In an email interview with PEOPLE for last week's exclusive cover story, Spears shared her thoughts: "It is finally time for me to raise my voice and speak out, and my fans deserve to hear it directly from me."

Britney mentioned that she was introduced to Colin through a 'club promoter friend,' and she described their relationship as a 'two-week brawl.'

"Brawl is the only word for it," the 'Womanizer' singer said.

"We were all over each other, grappling so passionately it was like we were in a street fight."

While Colin Farrell previously denied any romantic involvement with Britney Spears, she's now alluding to the possibility that something might have indeed happened between them.

She said, "Yeah, there might have been something there with Colin, but honestly, I was still dealing with my feelings for my ex, Justin Timberlake."

In a PEOPLE magazine cover story, Britney talked about the challenge of letting others control her story.

"Over the past 15 years or even at the start of my career, I sat back while people spoke about me and told my story for me," she said.

"After getting out of my conservatorship, I was finally free to tell my story without consequences from the people in charge of my life."
