Weddings vary in size and style, but one thing they all seem to have in common is the price tag. Weddings can be quite costly, with the average wedding in the United States costing around $28,000.

Even though brides and grooms may spend money on various items, food tends to be at the top of the list of expenses. After all, we want everyone who attends the wedding to have a great time and walk away with fond memories of the day.

This is typically the day's high point, but sometimes it can also become a problem. That's what one bride shared on Reddit, as she had a wedding guest behaving unexpectedly.

The wedding was relatively small, and the focus was on serving good food for everyone. Only about 25 people attended, but a friend asked a few days before the wedding if his daughter and her husband could come.

Upon arrival, they did more than simply show up for the occasion. They carried some Tupperware and filled up multiple containers, seven loaded with food from the buffet and three with homemade cookies.

She took some centerpieces and a few bottles of beer home with her to add to everything else.

This could have been acceptable, but when the bride examined this woman and her husband's gift, she realized they had only given a five-dollar bill.

Before passing any judgment, it should be noted that this woman did not require the food. She is reputed for being a freeloader, and despite having sufficient money, she simply prefers not to spend it.
