Preparing for a wedding can be stressful and overwhelming, not to mention the nerves that come with it. However, this woman's experience was so shocking that she called off her wedding on the spot. Those who heard her story were left wondering in disbelief.

Weddings are widely recognized as one of the most anxiety-inducing events in a person's life. With so much to consider, from choosing the perfect wedding dress and sending out invitations to selecting bridesmaids and preparing for the best man's speech, it's no wonder why.

On your wedding day, you might not anticipate asking yourself this particular question: "Did I really just witness my future husband being breastfed by his mother?"

I apologize if this caught you completely off guard.

During an episode of The Unfiltered Bride podcast, co-host Georgie Mitchell recounted a tale she had heard about a wedding disaster of epic proportions.

"On two occasions I've been told this story, I was not at this wedding, but on two occasions I've been told this, both by makeup artists," Georgie explains, building the suspense.

"We'll call her Jenny. Jenny says to me, 'I did a wedding the other day and you'll never guess what happened."

"She said the bride needed to go to the toilet just before the ceremony - this is like, pre-ceremony.

"And she walked into the toilet, and what she saw is enough to end a wedding."

Georgie wonders what could have been so terrible that she felt compelled to cancel the wedding.

Listing a few possibilities, Beth proposes that he might have been with someone else, possibly masturbating, or maybe he was receiving or giving sexual stimulation, or using drugs.

I wish it were this straightforward.

Unfortunately, what this unfortunate bride witnessed on that day is an irreparable damage to the relationship between the couple.

Georgie reveals: "He was being breastfed by his mum."

Beth expresses her understandable surprise by saying: "Sorry, WHAT? Why would you marry a man [who still breastfeeds]?"

As Georgie highlights, it's probable that the bride had no idea that her future husband was still breastfeeding when he proposed to her.

"I don't think she knew that was what was happening!" she said.

Beth then asks: "Why was his mum producing milk?"

To which Georgie replies: "She's obviously been doing it continuously to get to that point."

"Everybody is in the room waiting! But you definitely wouldn't kiss the groom..."

Since the video was shared, it has garnered hundreds of thousands of views, with viewers equally disgusted as the hosts.

"The strongest man couldn't lift my jaw right now," said one.

"I just can't!! This is SHOCKING! What position was he in with his mum? All cuddled up on the toilet?" asked a third.
