Former bride-to-be becomes an instant legend when discovering her fiancé cheated. She read his incriminating texts to the crowd at the altar instead of her wedding vows.
Wedding days are a memorable time for everyone. They can also be slightly nerve-racking, but for most people, they're totally worth it.
However, for one bride-to-be, her wedding turned out to be utterly different from what she had hoped for.
The woman, who chose to remain anonymous, spoke out her devastating story to Whimn. She explained how she learned the truth about her cheating fiancé and how she managed to take revenge on him in the most dramatic way.
Anonymous texts turned the wedding experience into a real-life nightmare
The night before her long-awaited day, she and her best friends were having fun in a hotel room when she received an anonymous text.
Hoping to see a message of congratulations, she was shocked to read, "I wouldn't marry him. Will you?" She also received multiple texts (accompanied by screenshots) that exposed her fiancé's escapades with another woman. The messages were clearly incriminating.
The Bride-to-be Finds Out Her Fiancé's A Cheater
As proof, the woman sent pictures of her with Alex (the groom), along with texts between the two, detailing their affair, dating from months to just days before the wedding day.
One of the text read:
"This weekend. You and I. It is on, hot stuff. Bring your A game."
While another said:
"Your body is f*cking incredible. And sh*t do you know how to use it. I wish my GF had half the skills you do."
But instead of calling off the wedding, the bride-to-be decided to take revenge by exposing him in front of the wedding congregation.
When the hour finally came, she walked down the aisle, and upon reaching the altar, she turned to the crowd and said:
"There will be no wedding today. It seems Alex is not who I thought he was."
She told the truth about her fiancé to the entire congregation and then read the incriminating texts the groom had sent to her secret lover.
The groom was disturbed and embarrassed that he couldn't face his family members. He hurriedly walked out of the church with the best man.
On the other hand, the bride came out of the situation better off without the marriage.
It's better to stay single instead of getting married to the wrong person. And before you know it, you might fall into a long-term relationship again and possibly make it to the honeymoon.
