Internet sleuths are responsible for this theory about Brian Laundrie, a missing person and person of interest in the death of Gabby Petito.

Brian Laundie has been missing for over a month, and the public is doing its part to help the authorities. However, we do not even know what to think about the latest theory, and while it is not sure whether it originated from TikTok, it went viral from this social media platform.

There is drone footage above the Laundrie family home, and it shows a woman similar to Roberta Launrdie tending to a flowerbed as her husband Chris stands nearby.

We are unsure whether TikTokers identified the authorities, nor do we know when and how this drone footage came to life.

After posting it on TikTok, the OP wrote:

"There is definitely someone there. You cannot change my mind."

Another user commented:

"Brian is under the garden bed. Watch him hand his mother something."

The third one tried to connect the dots:

"Chris Laundrie agrees to assist in the search for his son, Brian. Meanwhile, Roberta Laundrie is busy as ever in the garden. Has the FBI checked the garden?"

Unlike TikTokers, Twitter users sound less convinced. One Twitter user said:

"Stop with this ridiculous story about Brian Laundrie hiding in a stupid flower bed in the parents' backyard. It's not remotely funny."

And this is pretty much how we feel because, despite all the mistakes the police made at the beginning of this investigation, the FBI was at that house.

The Most Wanted Man In The US

Laundrie, 23, was reported missing two days after Gabby Petito's family reported her disappearance.

The Laundrie family said that the last time they saw Brian was on September 13, after a hike in the 25,000-acre Carlton Reserve.

Gabby's body was discovered on the 18, and a few days later, official confirmation came, stating that Gabby's death was a homicide.

Investigators tried to talk to Brian, who was engaged to the victim, but he kept his mouth shut, and the family lawyer spoke instead.

Laundrie and Petito traveled around the country, living in the van and documenting all the experiences on Youtube and Instagram.

However, only one of them returned home. Brian went home on September 1. Gabby's mom reported her daughter missing after not managing to get in touch with her for days.

Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for Laundrie for allegedly abusing someone else's bank card. He is still not named a suspect.

Gabby's autopsy confirmed that she died from strangulation, but the coroner did not want to go into detail. That is understandable for a developing case.
