As if you needed more reasons to love Tom Holland and Zendaya! The Spider-man crew kept their promise, and a boy, Bridger Walker, spent a day on the set of the movie.
After sacrificing himself to save his baby sister from a dog's attack, the boy became famous. He was only six at the time of the attack in 2020, and the bravery of this boy from Cheyenne, Wyoming, became known worldwide.
The proud dad said:
"A huge thank you to Tom, Harry Holland, Zendaya, and the entire Marvel/Sony cast and crew for this dream-come-true adventure."
"The look on the kids' faces was priceless when we rounded the blue-screen to see Tom, in full costume, high above the set on a light post. It was emotional to see him wave at the kids like he was the one that was supposed to be excited - not the other way around."
"They don't just act the part of friendly neighborhood heroes - that's what they truly are."
When a German Shepard jumped out of nowhere, Bridger attacked him, saving his sister, and later saying:
"If someone had to die, I thought it should be me."
The boy was left with 90 stitches, but his heroic action impressed Spider-man, and two heroes got to spend a lovely afternoon alongside Spider-man's beloved, played by Zendaya.
