A body-positivity model has decided to enlighten the world about the things Instagram influencers do to give us the impression that they have 'perfect' bikini bodies. So, if you believe that those models are as good as they appear online, you need to read this first.
Karina Irby would certainly be an authority on this, considering that she has more than 1.2 million followers on Instagram. Her profile stands out for the fact that she likes to upload natural pictures of herself.
Fortunately, Karina has plenty of natural beauty to share with her fans on social media.
She does not doctor her photos, but she knows how other influencers do this using flattering camera angles, carefully chosen filters, and beautiful lighting.
She shared side-by-side pictures of herself demonstrating how influencers achieve the 'perfect' body in their photos to make her point more convincing.
She wears the same bright pink bikini in the photos, and she does a marvelous job of showing how little it takes to make yourself look perfect.
By carefully adjusting her bikini, Karina manages to make herself look like she has the perfect hourglass figure.
In the picture on the left, she creates a more natural look by pushing her bikini bottoms upwards towards her waist.
She explains that the way you wear your bikini in photos can dramatically change your appearance. So, you now understand why Instagram models choose to wear their bikini bottoms lower.
"Notice how by changing the styling of your bikini bottom it can dramatically change the appearance of your body."
She advised her fans to keep an eye out for such tricks when looking at pictures of Instagram models. However, she went on to say that there was nothing wrong with wearing your bikini a certain way:
"There's no right or wrong way to wear your bikini! You do whatever makes you feel like that BOSS QUEEN that you are!"
She even admitted to being a "high-waisted gal."
A lot of her fans love how honest she is by revealing what really goes on behind the scenes.
Karina has committed herself to promote the body positivity movement, which is why she always uploads pictures of herself looking as natural as she possibly can.
