The petition to remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2 has surpassed four million signatures. That's why some people are already replacing her, and the popular choice for Mera appears to be Blake Lively.

Full disclosure: there are no official or unofficial stories regarding Amber's role in the Aquaman 2, known as Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,

Though her character appears for approximately 10 minutes in the upcoming movie, Heard is still attached to the project. Even more so, the chances of her being recast are quite slim.

With all that's been happening during the Depp vs. Heard trial, it is not shocking that some want Amber replaced. After all, the vast majority of social media is on Depp's side, if you can choose a side when it comes to such a topic as alleged domestic abuse and even alleged rape.

The petition was started several years ago, but the numbers doubled up since the trial began, and Depp told his side for the first time.

Blake Is Not The Only, But She Is The Most Popular Option For Mera

Apart from Blake Lively, another option for the role of Mera, at least according to social media users, is Emilia Clarke. She already started opposite Jason Momoa in the HBO series Game of Thrones.

However, due to their chemistry, which was off the charts, people claim Blake Lively would make a better, more fitting choice.

So, of course, there is a new petition which calls for Blake Lively to replace Amber Heard. The petition description reads:

"After the defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard and all the negative 'energy' around the latest, and since Blake Lively is a much likable actress and human being."

Though the petition hasn't gone viral, and the trial is not over, it is not hard to picture Ryan Raynold's better half as Mera. She's got the looks, that's for sure.
