Bikini Model Forced To Defend Herself For Saying She's "Too Good Looking" To Date

Not everyone has it easy when it comes to dating. Nevertheless, when most people finally find their ideal partners, all the effort they put into finding "the one" seems worthwhile.

The hardest part about dating is that failed romances can make you feel like you are not doing everything right, even if you are doing your best to be yourself.

The truth is that many things go into creating the perfect relationship. These factors include attraction, chemistry, and being true to yourself.

Being picky is allowed because you usually choose someone who might spend the rest of your life with you.

One Model Claimed That Her Lack Of Dates Was Caused By Her Good Looks

After spending too much time dating without success, Jenna Thomson felt that her good looks had everything to do with her failure to find a lasting partner.

She made the declaration while on This Morning, a British show. The mother of two is also a bikini model.

When she made the surprising claim, a lot of people responded negatively.

"I Am Too Good Looking To Date"

She explained that her good looks were intimidating to nice guys. Jenna alleged that the only guys she was attracting were those who wanted hookups.

Serious guys were too scared to approach her. At this point, the host of the show suggested that she tones down her looks, but Jenna outrightly turned down the idea.

"If You Change Yourself, You're Never Going To Be Truly Happy"

Jenna turned down the offer to alter her looks because she felt that this would make her unhappy. She pointed out that this meant you would never be real to the person you are dating with a different look.

"Why change the way I look just to fit into a category for the sort of person I'm looking for? Maybe I haven't met that type of person yet."

She Also Admitted To Being Very Selective About The People She Dates

She theorized that the guys she sort might be the issue because she had a particular type. Jenna loves heavily tattooed guys who are good-looking and also gym-goers.

The model also said she liked guys who could offer her some depth and personality, and she feels that heavily tattooed guys are deep and artistic.

Her Online Audience Was Unforgiving

Those watching the show got on Instagram, and Twitter decided to tell her what they thought of her claims.

One of the people commented, saying that the reason she had kids and no husband at her age had nothing to do with being too good-looking. The internet user suggested that maybe her problem was that she was because she was too full of herself, too high maintenance, or too caught up in a Barbie fantasy.

Another wrote:

"No guys want that much plastic. They'll get a Real Doll. At least she won't talk back."

That Wasn't The Worst Of It

Another said that nobody was intimidated by her and suggested that she probably had a terrible personality given her mindset.

According to another person, the problem might be that there are far too many people of her sort, unlike what she thinks:

"Ego makes people ugly, just saying. You are pretty, but people like you are a dime a dozen."

Jenna Tried Rising Above The Negativity

Even after seeing what people thought of her and her opinions, Jenna said that it would not ruin her day. She defended herself by saying that she was just speaking her mind.

Jenna said she would not be withdrawn simply because people don't like how she talks about certain things. She said that she knew her words would be controversial and that she was mentally prepared for the backlash that would follow.

She Has Nothing To Apologize For

Jenna declared that she was at the prime of her life, both physically and mentally. She did not feel she needed to hide that since she was looking after herself.
