Time flies fast after losing someone that you cared about.
And even when you have accepted the fact that your loved one is long gone, being aware doesn't make things easier.
It's been two and a half years since the world had lost the magnificent chef, author, and TV star Anthony Bourdain.
His sudden death left his daughter Ariane and his girlfriend Asia Argento in grief.
An Inspiring Star
He died in an apparent suicide back in 2018, and at the time, he was 61 years old.
Before the death occurred, Anthony was in France. He was preoccupied with filming an episode of his award-winning CNN series called Parts Unknown.
The network published a statement honoring his many talents:
"His love of great adventure, new friends, fine food and drink, and the remarkable stories of the world made him a unique storyteller."
Such a great loss to the world.

A Short Summary
Anthony spent many years working in the restaurant industry. But what made him worldwide famous was his article in the New Yorker in 1999, called Don't Eat Before Reading This.
The article was just the beginning of his writing career. A year later, he published his first memoir, Kitchen Confidential, which became an instant bestseller.
Then, this charismatic and wickedly funny chef spent nearly two decades traveling the world for his culinary shows.
The audience will remember him for his best TV culinary shows, such as No Reservations, The Layover, and Parts Unknown.

"Ok, I won't talk to you."
"And we sat quietly together for a few minutes. Then someone came over to gush at him and he politely left. That's the only time I ever met him, but there's nothing I appreciate more than someone you can sit quietly with."
