Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk met on Bachelor in Paradise, fell in love, and became parents after an emergency C section.
Describing the delivery, the couple wrote next to their Instagram post that it was a "wild turn of events."
They welcomed a healthy baby boy Gates Zev Gottschalk.
Baby's name is another reason why this couple is one of the most loved by the franchise. Gottschalk said:
"Gates was a name we picked out randomly one night while on a date, and it stuck so well."
The couple married in a small ceremony in April 2021, a year after their planned wedding, postponed due to Covid-19.
They met in 2017 while looking for love on Bachelor in Paradise. Gottschalk did not propose while they were on the show, but they focused on figuring things out, and it seemed like it worked.
The engagement happened two years later, despite Raven confirming that the producers pressed them into engagement while on the show.
Raven and Gottschalk's relationship was somewhat smooth sailing, though they had to reschedule their wedding four times. At one point, both agreed they wanted a baby, with or without a marriage certificate.
The couple announced they are expecting after their honeymoon, so despite delays, they are proof that The Bachelor franchise can produce a healthy and loving relationship.
In other news, it appears that drama is about to start in Clayton Echard's season. Week 3 of The Bachelor is scheduled to air Monday, January 24.
