It appears that Avril Lavigne has confirmed her relationship with Tyga, just a few days following her split from her fiancé Mod Sun.

On Monday (6 March), the 38-year-old pop-rock icon was seen kissing the 33-year-old rapper at the Mugler x Hunter Schafer Party during Paris Fashion Week.

Just a week after they were first rumored to be romantically involved, the couple's public display of affection was captured, leaving the internet surprised and bewildered.

At present, Lavigne and Tyga have publicly embraced each other and appeared very affectionate in front of other guests and photographers.

One fan has commented on the relationship between Lavigne, Tyga, and the Kardashians, causing a stir of disbelief among social media users.

"Um wow...they gotta date out of their circle. Tyga has a baby with Chyna who has a baby with Rob who's sister is Kourtney who is married to Travis who is the owner of Avril's record label," they tweeted after the pictures emerged.

Another social media user expressed their astonishment, writing: "2023 really throwing some curveballs. Really didn't have Tyga and Avril Lavigne on my radar, especially seeing as she was engaged a couple of weeks ago."

Last month, the love life of the "Complicated" singer became newsworthy when she ended her engagement to real-life "Sk8er Boi" Mod Sun.

Last March, fans were thrilled when Avril and Mod Sun (real name Derek Smith) got engaged during a romantic trip to Paris.

After dating Lavigne for approximately a year and collaborating on their duet "Flames," the 35-year-old "Karma" singer proposed.

In February, when news of their breakup surfaced, Mod Sun's representatives informed Page Six that they were still engaged up until three days prior to his departure for his tour.

"They were together and engaged as of three days ago when he left for tour so if anything has changed that's news to him," the rep told the publication.

According to TMZ, Lavigne was photographed having dinner with Tyga and a group of friends in Los Angeles, and the two musicians hugged before departing in the same vehicle.

It seems that Lavigne and Mod Sun's romantic relationship has come to an end. Last week, the Grammy nominee was seen with the rapper of "Taste" at the Courrèges show.

They added to the rumors when they arrived together at Leonardo DiCaprio's party at Kuku restaurant in Paris.

Lavigne's representatives have confirmed that she is no longer in a romantic relationship with Mod Sun.

In an emotional Instagram post, Mod Sun seemed to allude to the breakup as his tour began.

He wrote: "In 1 week my entire life completely changed…I just know there's a plan for it all. I'll keep my head up + always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken."
