American Gothic is a portrait created by Grant Wood in 1930. It depicts simple farmers posing for the painting.

These farmers were, in fact, the sister and dentist of Grant Wood, who were standing in front of a simple farmhouse.

The Mexican painter Frida Kahlo is best known for her famous Self-Portrait with Thorn Necklace and Hummingbird. This work of art was mainly inspired by nature and the artifacts and traditions of Mexico.

The Lady with an Ermine is a piece of art that depicts a woman named Cecilia Gallerani. She is said to be the favorite mistress of the married Duke Ludovico Sforza.

The Duke was da Vinci's patron and champion for 18 years, and is known for his nickname, "The White Ermine".

Johannes Vermeer – Girl With A Pearl Earring (1665)

The famous Girl with a Pearl Earring is a piece of art created in 1665 by the Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer.

Somehow, though, the iconic pearl earring is missing in Denis's recreation.

Rembrandt van Rijn – The Night Watch (1642)

Created in 1642, The Night Watch is a painting by artist Rembrandt van Rijn showing the Militia Company of District II under the command of Captain Frans Banninck Cocq.
