According to the Phoenix New Times, a 22-year-old transgender woman named Donald Waelde was arrested on bestiality charges in Arizona. The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office apprehended Waelde for placing an advertisement on Phoenix Craigslist seeking a horse to engage in sexual activity with, specifically requesting an animal "on which to commit the act of fellatio."

1. The Ad Was Pretty Clear On What Waelde Was Looking For

On April 8, Waelde posted a message in the Missed Connections section which read, "I am 22 years old and I want to play with a male horse. Simple as that. If you have access to a male horse and can provide me access, then please contact me 😉 I will do something in return."

2. Another Craigslist User Contacted The Police

The MCSO was alerted to the presence of the post on Craiglist by a visitor who had a genuine interest in horses. After an investigation, the identity of the poster and her intentions were uncovered. In a statement, a spokesman for the MCSO said: "In the undercover investigation, Sheriff's deputies contacted the suspect and engaged Waelde in conversation where the suspect stated the sex act he wished to perform on the horse and agreed to meet the undercover detective on Tuesday."

3. They Arrested Waelde In A Sting

Waelde was immediately arrested when the undercover officer arrived to meet her with a borrowed horse. During the arrest, she admitted to placing the ad and revealed her intentions to consummate the act. Additionally, a search warrant was executed at Waelde's home.

4. This Was The Fourth Arrest In Three Years Of Its Kind

Although one may not anticipate bestiality to be a common criminal activity, recent statistics indicate otherwise. Waelde's apprehension marks the fourth arrest made by the MCSO within a span of three years for analogous offenses, revealing the extent of depravity that some individuals can exhibit.
