Jason Momoa and Patrick Wilson announced that it's a wrap! The actors posed alongside director James Wan were all smiles, as they confirmed that Aquaman 2 is done!

Wan thanked the crew, adding:

"I have a very long way to go before it will be ready, but I can't wait to share this little film with you all."

The plot is still unknown, and fans are anxious to see what's in the stars for Aquaman. The filming was stressful due to Covid restrictions and unconfirmed conflicts between the crew members. Additionally, Momoa suffered an injury.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will be in theaters on Dec. 16, 2022.

Meanwhile, Momoa and Lisa Bonet announced their split after 16 years and two children together. The two issued a joint statement:

The second Aquaman film features Amber Heard reprising Mera and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II reprising Black Manta, alongside Momoa returns as Arthur Curry and Wilson as Prince Orm.

As per the movie title, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, it most likely deals with one of the seven underwater kingdoms of Atlantis.
