Amber Heard Denies Burning Johnny Depp With Cigarette During Fight

Amber Heard claims she didn't burn Johnny Depp with a cigarette during their infamous 2015 blowout fight.

In court documents, Depp accused Heard of putting a burning cigarette on his right cheek after throwing a bottle at him that severed his finger.

This incident happened while the two were in Australia in 2015. The filing included a photo of Depp on a gurney with a bandaged finger.

Depp said the fight ensued after he requested a post-nuptial agreement with Heard.

The former Pirates of the Caribbean star added that the discussion led Heard into 'a rage.' Afterward, she 'screamed at him abusively,' driving him into drinking.

His attorneys also pointed out Depp 'sought to avoid Heard by going to the downstairs bar in the house.' He then 'poured himself a vodka and drank it.'

Depp alleged that Heard then threw two bottles at him, and one hit him, cutting his finger.

The actor also admitted in the filing that he 'wrote on a mirror and walls in blood and oil paint' after the incident.' However, he denied initial reports that he urinated all over the house following the incident.

Depp also described two other abusive incidents of which Heard previously accused him.

On one occasion, Depp said Heard 'verbally harassed' him during a flight. In an effort to playfully calm her, he 'stretched his leg out to tap her on the bottom with his foot.' But he didn't reach her.

At that point, Depp said Heard 'took great offense at the harmless act and continued to berate him.'

Depp claimed he later slept on the floor of the plane bathroom.

In response to the filings, Heard claimed she and Depp got into an altercation on a private flight. She said Depp became jealous that she was set to work with actor James Franco.

She explained:

I stood up, and Johnny kicked me in the back, causing me to fall over.

Johnny threw his boot at me while I was on the ground. He continued to scream obscenities until he went into the plane bathroom.

He then passed out and locked himself in the bathroom for the remainder of the flight.

Heard's attorney Eric George also refuted the accusations, saying in a statement:

This allegation is absurd, offensive, and... untrue.

This photograph proves nothing—apart from the fact that Johnny Depp is desperate to throw out any outlandish allegation to deflect attention from his physical and ongoing psychological abuse of Amber Heard.

In a statement to ET the representative added:

This frivolous action is just the latest of Johnny Depp's repeated efforts to silence Amber Heard.

Depp's actions prove he is unable to accept the truth of his ongoing abusive behavior.

But while he appears hell-bent on achieving self-destruction, we will prevail in defeating this groundless lawsuit.
