Days before testifying in a defamation trial, Amber Heard fired her old PR team and hired a new one. The actress ditched crisis PR firm Precision Strategies on Thursday. New York Post confirmed the news, citing a source, that Amber Heard "doesn't like bad headlines."
Additionally, Heard allegedly became "frustrated with her story not being told effectively." That's why before taking the stand, she made sure to try to change her image. However, all things point out that it is highly unlikely, as support for her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, appears to grow within minutes.
The petition to remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2 surpassed three million signatures. Depp's supporters are finally getting to hear the actor's side of the story, as the trial has been live-streamed since the beginning of April 11.
Depp decided to talk about his drug and alcohol abuse, opened up about his childhood, and, of course, marriage to Heard. With numerous witnesses and recordings supporting his claims, it is no wonder that Depp is "winning" in the court of public opinion.
However, this is the week Amber will take the stand, and hiring a more suitable PR team is a risky but possibly, highly rewarding move.
Social media is full of support for Depp. We have learned that Amber pooped in their marital bed and tried to blame the dog. Depp's security team confirmed this disturbing information.
Another thing that Depp alegged was that Amber severed his finger. These claims were backed up by doctors and nurses, who confirmed they were looking for part of his finger and found it in the kitchen along with blood and broken glass.
The news about Amber firing her PR team was also reported by Fox News, Daily Beast, and other major outlets.
The decision regarding the defamation lawsuit should be determined later this month.
