Poem

Against All Odds

Against All Odds

It was in your eyes that I'd drowned.

Those eyes, deeper than the ocean.

I've never seen such a beauty in a soul.

What kind of spell is this?

I'm tormented by your love.

Will I fall again into the currents of your eyes?

Or will you hold me tight and never let me go?

I wish I could explain your eyes to the world.

The same ones that I fell in love with.

The same ones that touched my soul.

No one else mattered when I looked inside your heart.

Will you save me when you are like the ocean, and I am lost at seas?

Pain and sorrows invaded my body.

I left a piece of my heart forever in yours.

Lost adrift on the waves of the sadness,

I wish my falling tears would touch your soul in the ocean.
