On Sunday, at least seven people were hospitalized following a mass shooting in downtown Orlando, Florida. Orlando Police Chief Eric D. Smith said the shooting started after 2 am following a fight.
Smith held a press conference but could not give too much information since this is an ongoing investigation, the suspect is still at large, and the police initially did not have their description.

The suspect pulled a gun in a group, leaving at least seven injured. All are in stable condition.
According to the non-profit organization Gun Violence Archive, there have been at least 381 mass shootings in 2022 so far. On average, that is more than 1.7 mass shootings every day.
