A Legend Who Hacked Her Fridge To Dispense Wine

We all hear about fridges dispensing hot, warm or cold water but who would have ever thought they could dispense wine. I seriously need this fridge in my house.

A legend by the name Clare Pott has made this impossibility become possible by hacking her fridge. Oh lord, my fridge is so in for it.

Clare is a 28-year-old Manchester-based lifestyle blogger who hacked her fridge to dispense wine instead of water. She has her website- thelifelately.com where she shares her personal experiences as a mom and a lover of interior design. She blogs regularly.

Refrigerators either come with pipes that are directly hooked to your kitchen main water supply or interior tanks that are regularly refilled.

According to Clare, she recently ordered a new fridge with her boyfriend, Joe that has an interior refillable water dispenser.

“We ordered the fridge and Joe said it came with a wine cooler selection”

“And I said, or we could put it in the water dispenser”

“It seemed to make perfect sense,” she said

But unfortunately, after the wine was finished in the dispenser, Clare and her boyfriend, Joe went back to filling the refillable water dispenser with water.

“We finished off the bottle and washed it out so it’s back to water now. Not sure if it would work if you left it for a while, though”

“It also didn’t affect the taste of the wine or the water we put in after,” she added

The number of wine bottles or the type of wine she used in filling the tank wasn’t stated by Clare but she posted a picture of her self-filling up her glass on twitter.

The picture she posted had positive comments from twitter like

“This is my dream, I can’t believe as a wine addict, that I never thought of this”

“You should have got Time person of the year with this idea”

“My fridge also has this and this means you have just saved 2016”

“This would absolutely revolutionize my life”

Clare admitted that responses she got from sharing her ideas have been crazy and also thinks that she might have ruined few water filters around the world

“I can’t believe people haven’t done it before, it’s definitely something fridge manufacturers should add in,” she said.

But come to think of it, this hack could be tried using different drinks, but I am responsible for what I suggest not what you do *winks*.
