Many people lose the battle against the visible effects of aging in their 30’s, and by the late 40’s, most are already in pretty bad shape.

But one woman has left many baffled by her agelessness. She looks much younger than women half her age, and she credits that to one simple trick.

Carolyn Hartz Hasn’t Eaten Sugars For 30 Years!

Really. That’s pretty much it.

Once upon a time, Carolyn was really into sweets, just like most people. But one day, she decided to completely give up processed sugars. She was in her forties then, which means she has been living without sugar in her diet for three decades now.

Not only did her drastic life choice stop her from aging, the hands of time seems to have moved several paces backwards.

She has such a youthful look. And many women her age are probably mad at her for the jealousy they feel, but even madder at themselves for not learning the secret when they were younger.

Carolyn is enjoying her young-looking body in all possible ways. She even wears bikinis ton the beach, and her complexion looks amazing.

She is giving many 20-year-olds a run for their money as she turns heads with her great physique wherever she goes.

What More Can She Tell Us?

To anyone who wants to follow in her age-defying footsteps, she recommends making the right lifestyle changes.

“A lot of women post 50 think it’s not possible to maintain a reasonable shape and weight when they reach 50 and beyond… while it may be ‘a little more difficult’ to stay in shape for women post 40, it can still be possible if you really want to work at it. We know our metabolism slows down as you get older it just means we have to take control and make healthier choices and work a little harder.”

Got that? But these vague words of wisdom is not all she has for her fans. Here’s what she went on to say.

“I believe it is very important to be aware of the type of food you eat and the quantity of food you eat. Being mindful while you are eating is a huge factor. Mindless eating can lead to unnecessary weight gain. I say to my customers ‘taste and enjoy every mouthful’… it will help you slow down and you will be less likely to overeat.”

Imagine that. All you have to do is watch what you eat, how much you eat, and how you eat it.

She had other nuggets of wisdom to share with those who want to have ageless beauty. For instance, it is important to have a positive outlook on life. 

She also insists on avoiding sugar, although it will be hard. But it can be done with enough dedication. She admits: “I am an optimist even when I have challenges thrown at me I have learnt to stay positive.”

There you go, be a glass-half-full kind of person.

And About The Sugar, She Admits It’s Not Easy Staying Away.

“I make sure I eat protein with every meal especially breakfast. It stops the cravings.’

She had even being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. For that reason, she resolved to replace her sugary foods with proteins for increased satiety.

But She Also Understands That Life Is Not All About Looking Good.

You should still treat yourself from time to time. You just have to know your limits and make healthy choices your greatest priority.

She also makes sure she sleeps for at least 8 hours every day. After all, this is when the body heals and rejuvenates itself.

One other thing: Carolyn likes to meditate and be grateful.

She also moisturizes her skin every night, wears sunscreen when out in the sun, and gets rid of her make up before bed.

Think you can manage this? Not sure? Maybe if you focus on how you want to look when you are in your 70’s, the decision will be much easier. Personally, if I manage to look like she does today in my 50’s, I will be happy. Very happy.
