5 Dead Bodies Found In Brian Laundrie Hunt

During the massive manhunt for Brian Laundrie, the investigation discovered at least five dead bodies.

A 33-year-old man died from stab wounds. Josue Calderon's body was found in Blowing Rock, North Carolina, at Blue Ridge Parkway.

Robert Lowery apparently took his own life. He was 46, and his remains were found near the Black Canyon trail in Bridger-Teton National Forest.

Kylen Schulte, 24, and Crystal Turner, 38, were newlyweds, and their bodies were found in Utah. Before their deaths, they told friends about a "creepy man" camping nearby. Both victims were shot and were initially thought to be connected to the Petito/Laundrie case.

Sara Bayard, 55, was found in El Paso County, Colorado, off of Highway 83 and N. Pinery Parkway in Douglas County. In this area, Gabby Petito took one of her last photos. The cause of death is yet to be determined.

There are allegedly at least two more victims, but no details have been released yet.

One Of The Biggest Searches In The US

The finding of Brian Laundrie's remains marks the end of one of the most extensive searches in recent years.

Laundrie and Petito started traveling in July in order to experience van life and enjoy time in nature. Gabby Petitio never returned home.

Her family reported her missing on September 11, and Brian Laundrie went missing two days later.

After finding Gabby Petito's body on September 19, Brian Laundrie became the only person of interest in her death.

Gabby was strangled to death, and her death was listed as homicide.

The authorities issued the warrant for Laundrie after he allegedly used a Capitol One Bank card without permission following Gabby's death.

Laundrie used the card between August 30 and September 1, "knowingly and with intent to defraud." It was reported that Gabby Petito was killed 3-4 weeks before her body was found, meaning she was no longer alive on these days.

After Brian Laundrie's remains were found, it left us with numerous questions. Some might be in his notebook and his backpack, located next to his remains.
