It's exciting to see a family welcoming a loved and cherished child into their home through adoption. Though many are looking forward to bringing kids into their homes, some want to have a child to cherish.

For several years now, a non-profit organization called Together We Rise (TWR) has been helping such families through the foster care system and sharing heartwarming photos of kids on the day they were adopted into their "forever families."

Posted on the non-profit organization's Facebook and Instagram pages, these photos reveal how much time the kid, next to the sign, spent in foster care.

The organization's primary goal is to improve the lives of foster kids in the US by offering school and recreational supplies, educational programs, and college scholarships.

In its recent statistics, Together We Rise revealed that over 1,200 kids enter foster care in the US every day. And in a bid to solve this issue, it's bringing volunteers together and educating them about the rising problems surrounding the foster care system,

And sharing inspiring foster care adoption photos on social media is just one of its many initiatives.

In a recent press interview, TWR Executive Director, Gianna Dahlia, said:

"With so much negative news surrounding foster care, we just want to highlight the positive with amazing adoptions that are happening every day."

"There are many negative stereotypes surrounding kids in foster care, but they are just children who want loving families -- and there are families out there fighting for them."

"We just want to inspire those families to either going the process or considering the adoption process that it can be done and it is worth it."

Recognizing the potentials of what TWR is doing, many people have pitched in to help the organization. Speaking with Bored Panda, a representative of TWR pointed out:

"Every day, we have people reaching out to us wanting to learn more about the adoption process or what they can do to help."

"We even inspired thousands of professional photographers who wanted to donate their services to families adopting."

"With an overwhelming amount of inquires, we posted an application for any interested photographers and on the first day, we had over 5000 professionals sign up."
