These pairs of celebrities have starred in multiple movies together more times than you know.
Sometimes, actors and actresses happen to share such special chemistry on the screen that they end up working together several times throughout their careers.
After all, some pairs just work well as fake husbands and wives or manage to play a believable duo of best friends—probably because they are in real life.
And if their previous film was a huge success, directors and fans wouldn't mind seeing them together more than once, even if it's only in a fictional reality.
So which pairs of actors and actresses can't seem to quit each other? We've rounded up 14.
#1 Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling
Emma and Ryan first appeared together in 2011 in Crazy, Stupid, Love and totally won our hearts from the beginning.
In one particular interview, Emma even said she loved working with Ryan so much that she would want to make as many movies with him as she could.
And it seems like her wish came true.
After Crazy, Stupid, Love became a hit, the duo played two more films together: in 2013 Gangster Squad and 2016 La La Land.
#2 Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson
Their collaboration dates back to 1993 when they first acted together. To date, Willis and Jackson have appeared in five films together.
Some of their famous films include Pulp Fiction (1994), Die Hard with a Vengeance (1995), and the most recent Glass (2019).
#3 Saoirse Ronan and Timothée Chalamet
Another favorite duo was born in 2017 with the movie Lady Bird.
Timothée and Saoirse are close friends in real life and a great match on camera.
Timothée recently said that with Saoirse, he sometimes feels like it's 'more fun time than acting.'
The duo appeared in the 2019 film Little Women, where they played as close friends.
We'll soon see Timothée and Saoirse together again in the upcoming 2021 movie The French Dispatch, though we aren't sure who their characters are in the film.
#4 Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt
This beloved pair first appeared together in 2005 in Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
The two then fell in love with each other off the screen and are now parents to six kids: biological and adopted.
In 2015, the duo appeared together again on the screen in the film By the Sea, with Angelina as the writer and director.
#5 Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio
Kate and Leonardo first appeared on Titanic in 1997. Since then, they have developed a strong friendship and have been in each other's lives to date.
For instance, Leonardo walked Kate down the aisle on her wedding day.
Besides starring in Titanic, they also played as a couple in the movie Revolutionary Road.
#6 Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly
This comedian duo has appeared in three movies together.
Their first appearance was in 2006 in the film Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.
Twelve years later, they appeared in Holmes & Watson. In between these movies, they played together in Step Brothers.
#7 Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan
Tom and Meg Ryan have played as a couple several times. Their first film, Joe Versus the Volcano, wasn't a big success, though.
However, two other films that followed—Sleepless in Seattle (1993) and You've Got Mail (1998)—were a hit.
In 2015, they also appeared together in Ithaca, directed by Meg Ryan herself.
#8 Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci
This duo paired up for the first time in the 1980 film Raging Bull.
During one of the scenes, Robert accidentally broke Joe's rib. But it seems like Joe didn't take offense because the pair have worked together in four more films afterward.
Their most recent collaboration was a 2019 film The Irishmen, which received 10 Oscar nominations.
#9 Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler
The duo's first movie together was The Wedding Singer in 1998, and they garnered a lot of fans at the time.
The two later acted together again in 50 First Dates (2004) and Blended (2014).
#10 Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise
Tom Cruise himself chose Nicole Kidman to play his character's love interest in Days of Thunder (1990). Nicole was just beginning her career at the time.
The duo later paired up for two more films: Far and Away (1992) and Eyes Wide Shut (1999).
#11 Uma Thurman and John Travolta
They first appeared together in Pulp Fiction (1994). They later appeared in two more movies: Be Cool (2005) and Savages (2012).
#12 Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter
There are probably no actors and actresses that would match better than Depp and Helena.
The duo seems to be a male and female version of some atmospheric and creepy Tim Burton characters.
To date, Depp and Helena have six collaborations.
#13 Julia Roberts and Richard Gere
While Julia Roberts and Richard Gere only have two movies together, they played as lovers in both films: Pretty Woman (1990) and Runaway Bride (1999).
#14 Tina Fey and Amy Poehler
This pair is perfect for watching if you need some pick me up.
Luckily, they have starred in a couple of films together, including Baby Mama (2008), Sisters (2015), and Wine Country (2019).
Tina and Amy are also best friends in real life, so it's no wonder they radiate such energy on the screen.
