Viewers of the reality TV show 1000 lb Sisters have been accompanying Tammy, a popular reality star, through numerous challenges and difficulties.
Since 2020, Tammy and her sister Amy have been chronicling their progress in losing weight, starting from a combined weight exceeding 1000 lbs.
After three years of being on the show, Tammy's appearance has changed so drastically that she is now almost unrecognizable.
During the first season of 1000 lb Sisters, Tammy's goal was to reduce her weight from 717 lbs in order to become eligible for bariatric surgery.
In the most recent season, Tammy successfully accomplished her weight loss objective and managed to reduce her weight to 534 lbs.
"When I got on the scale and I saw the scale was at 534.7, I kinda stopped breathing for a second," she said in a recent episode.
"I'm like 14 lbs under my goal weight. From over 700, that's a huge drop."
"I'm feeling thrilled, proud, excited... just all the emotions. I proved everybody wrong."

"Everybody that doubted me, I finally got mine! My told-you-so moment!"
Tammy underwent the weight loss surgery, which was featured in an episode aired last month, and despite a few setbacks, the procedure was ultimately successful.
Although Tammy is not an active user of social media, her recent selfie posted on Instagram has left her followers in disbelief due to the significant changes in her appearance.
"Gotta admit Tammy, you proved a whole lot of us wrong. Way to go & keep it up!" commented one fan.
"I think I speak for everyone when I say WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU," raved a second.
A third added: "Omg Tammy you look amazing! And no more trach! I have cried on every episode this season! You freakin' did it girl! I am so proud of you!"
After successfully undergoing the weight loss surgery and marrying her husband Caleb Willingham, Tammy has begun contemplating starting a family in the near future.
"I've missed so much and I'm excited to have a new chance on life," she told cameras this season.
"Who knows, I could have a kid."

Although Tammy had previously been opposed to having children, her perspective seems to have shifted after witnessing her sister Amy's experience of starting a family.
"I don't know, just something changed. I've been seeing Amy with Gage and Glenn. So, I've been thinking about it. Nothing's written in stone. I don't even know if I can have kids."
"But, who knows. Maybe there will be a little Tammy running around one day. I don't know if the world is ready for that."
