It's not a secret that people always carry some prejudice for others who are different than themselves.

Although Satanists base their ideologies and beliefs around the notion of the Devil himself, they don't necessarily worship the evil and practice rituals.

Of course, not everything has to revolve around the clichés.

For example, Satanists don't have to be perceived as the bad guys who perform violent rituals dressed in black cloaks. Or one of Hollywood's favorites - drawing inverted pentagrams with the blood of a virgin.

Nowadays, it is more about donating blood, assisting victims of domestic abuse, and helping out the homeless.

Here are some of the initiatives established or supported by the Satanists.

#1 Providing Menstrual Products To All Who Can't Afford It

Many Satanic Chapters across the USA participate in this human initiative.

They intend to make menstruation products, including tampons, sanitary pads, menstrual cups, and wipes, available to anyone in need.

But, they are focusing on all those who may not be able to afford these products without assistance.

#2 Providing Baby Supplies For Parents In Need

The Satanic Temple Minnesota hosted a diaper/infant care products drive to help out those families who can't afford them.

They made a partnership with Simpson Housing Services.

It is a local non-profit organization that supports homeless families with young children.

#3 Backing Up Campaigns To Battle Various Child Abuse At Schools

The Satanic Temple Chapters collectively joined forces nationwide for a good deed.

Their main intention was to address the abuse that takes place in public schools.

By joining together in this action, their goal was to fight against corporal punishment, the use of physical restraints, restricting bathroom access, and violating other civil rights.

#4 Inspiring People To Donate Blood And Save Lives

Satanic Australia launched the very first charity event in the country called Blood For Satan.

Their attention-drawing slogan - Satan wants your blood, not your soul - worked its magic to the fullest.

This campaign called all Satanists in Australia, Tasmania, and New Zealand to save lives by donating blood.

According to The Red Cross, their initiative has saved 252 lives to date.

#5 Providing Socks For Homeless People

Homeless people deserve to be warm during cold days too.

This is the main reason why Socks For Satan is a great idea.

The Satanic Temple Florida stands behind this campaign. They are aiming to collect and distribute new socks for people on the streets.

#6 Providing Business Attire For People Who Are Struggling To Break Out From Poverty

The clothing drive is the full responsibility of The Satanic Temple Arizona Chapter. This controversial religious group has been active for many years.

They usually collect business casual and semi-formal attire. Then, they deliver these goods to community members who can't afford such clothes for their job interviews and employment fairs.

Their mission statement says:

"The mission of The Satanic Temple is to encourage benevolence and empathy among all people, reject tyrannical authority, advocate practical common sense and justice, and be directed by the human conscience to undertake noble pursuits guided by the individual will."

However, the intentions to answer the cries for help don't end here.

These branches of the Satanist organizations have their Facebook groups too.

Besides sharing information about their campaigns and new charity cases, they are constantly embracing other members to join any of the active good deed activities.

#7 Donating For People Who Experienced Domestic Abuse

With 21 other so-called Chapters, The Satanic Temple Austin is doing donation collections for SAFE (Stop Abuse For Everyone).

This is an organization that deals with domestic violence and conservative lobbying.

#8 Donating Clothing Money For People In Need

In 2017, Boston's Satanic Temple Chapter prepared a clothing collection called Warmer Than Hell.

With this move, they attempted to promote religious diversity and bring warmth to those in need.

In the end, their initiative provided 191 coats, sweatshirts, jackets, hats, and gloves, as well as two large bags of socks and more than 900 dollars.

#9 Keeping The Beaches Clean

Back n 2018, The Satanic Temple in the state of California ended up adopting a beach.

But, it was not a beach where they could practice their midnight rituals at all.

On the contrary - they joined the Save Our Shores program and committed to keeping it clean of trash.

Moreover, they continued raising awareness for the cause.

#10 Keeping The Highways Free

Several Satanic organizations participate in promotional campaigns that aim to keep parts of the highways free of trash across North America.

Who said that Satanists are the bad guys?
