Each year, a massive group of about one million kids from 7000 thousand schools convene to meditate for peace.
This project is called V-Star, Change the World, and it brings school children from all over the world to a Buddhist temple in Thailand for a day of meditation. People believe this selfless and massive gathering can change the world.
Meditation only works for individuals with inner peace. It's not for the greedy or the corrupt.
The V-star meditation project initially began as part of the World Morality Revival project introduced by the abbot of the Wat Phra Dhammakaya Buddhist Temple, Luang Phor Dhammachayo.
Despite its noble intentions, the temple attracted controversy, as critics argued that the meditation exercise was simply for show-off. Others likened it to cult activities.
Yet, the project's primary goal was for school children to come together and support each other while doing good deeds daily.
The event is held once every year, and kids come from over 7000 schools in Thailand and other parts of the world.
Children come together in prayer and meditation, expressing their wishes for good and well-being and hoping to heal the wounds of Mother Earth brought about by humanity.
The more children gather for meditation. The higher positive vibrations are sent into the universe. And this will increase the impact of the project.
In a recent press statement, a spokesperson of the projects explained:
"If we want to change the world, we must start with the small things, so if we want to change the world, we need the kids to change first. We believe that changing the world starts with changing ourselves, so when a million kids are doing their best to be a better person, it can really change the world."
From a scientific perspective, meditation increases electromagnetic energy generated by the human body and improves its function.
Since nearly everything is made up of electromagnetic energy, a massive meditation event such as the V-star, Change the World, can efficiently release positive vibes.
In fact, any peaceful and positive thoughts, or even wishing good things to everyone is a huge step towards a better world.
Instilling school kids with good morals and values is one of the best ways to raise positive, responsible adults. This will undoubtedly benefit our society at large.
If we all come together and work to co-create our reality as a team, we can improve everyone's lives in the world.
